Keagan W. Rushmore

Keagan W. Rushmore, MBA, RICP, is a financial advisor at L2 Advisors and works toward educating his clients, who can expect advice given to them with the heart of a teacher. He started working for his Dad Chuck at L2 in 2008. He was given the benefit of helping clients in what is arguably the best of times and the worst of times. Investing for the future is as much about knowing the past as having a clear vision of where you want to go tomorrow.
Keagan graduated from Grand Valley State University with an MBA in Finance and Aquinas College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He earned the Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP) designation from the American College for Financial Services. He’s also obtained numerous financial licenses, including the Series 7, 63, and 65, as well as his Michigan Life, Disability, and Health insurance licenses.
His three kids are his greatest joy. Favorite shared activities include leadership in Boy Scouting, bike riding, basketball, soccer and generally any active time with them. Keagan is always reading and following politics and economics, joking that this is his “sport of choice.” Personal hobbies include woodworking, gardening, target practice, cooking and home brewing of beers, ciders and wines. Many of the architectural elements of the L2 Advisors offices were designed and built by Keagan and Chuck.
Keagan is Past President for the Western Michigan Chapter of the Society of Financial Professionals and the Kent County Chapter President for Habitat Young Professionals. In 2012 he was selected to be a Dave Ramsey SmartVestor Pro serving West Michigan. SmartVestor Pros are committed to educating and empowering people to help them work toward their long-term investing goals. This came as a great privilege to this long-time listener and devotee of Dave’s financial principals in his own life. While studying at Grand Valley State University, he served on the Graduate Student Advisory Board and led the Seidman College of Business Honor Code Development. Other memberships include the Society of FSP, NTSAA and NRA.
