Mary Lynch

Mary Lynch is a licensed sales assistant and responsible for providing support to the investment representatives and financial planners at L2 Advisors. She also welcomes new clients and assists them with their inquiries, supports existing clients, and acts as a liaison between internal associates and the investment professionals who support L2 Advisors. She takes care of scheduling, prospect meetings, reviews paperwork for accuracy and compliance, and handles phone and email correspondence.
Earlier in her career, she supported another financial advisor in Okemos, Michigan, for more than 15 years, spent time in downtown Chicago as a financial assistant for a relocation company, and was an accounting assistant for a property management firm.
The most rewarding part of her job is working with clients for many years and then seeing them be able to retire. She has watched them become more confident and educated over the years on how important it is to plan for their retirement, and when they finally reached that stage, they looked back and were proud of what they had accomplished with the firm’s help. Mary has an appreciation for encouraging people to save toward their financial independence and when it’s time for them to finally retire, it’s an exciting moment to share with them.
Mary graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Northern Illinois University and majored in Education with a minor in History. She’s obtained her Series 6 and 63 securities licenses and is a notary public.
Mary loves spending time with her nieces and nephews, game nights with family/friends, is an old movie buff, enjoys photography, gardening, and watching college football. You might even see her at an MSU football game as she volunteers to take your ticket at the entrance. Some of Mary’s bucket list items that she’s already fulfilled are taking an Alaskan cruise, seeing the Chicago Cubs win the World Series, and kissing the Blarney Stone in Ireland.
